About this app

Display your current Maidenhead locator with 10 digit precision. It also computes bearing and distance to a set of target locations using locator or latitude / longitude. Useful to align antennas in VHF / UHF / microwave DX activities. No network or fancy maps usage, so it can be used even in remote locations.

Excellent for finding your locator BUT do not use height info when entering contests - it is very wrong. My QTH is around 37m ASL but this app says anywhere between 70 & 83m, even after waiting for it to acquire as many satellites as possible. The error is caused by the app using raw GPS height, which is based on an artificial geoid shape, rather than Mean Sea Level.The app does seem to lock onto satellites quicker than the other GPS app I use though.

my buddy had me install this app could be a usfull tool, one thing its missing is to send my coords by text message to my buddy or any one in particular without having to go into google earth. and be able to cut and paste a coord from text message back into the app. this would make setting up microwave links almost as simple as pouring a glass of milk.

I love this app! No ads, satellite strength indication, and incredible grid square display accuracy! The satellite and sun/moon display on the compass are neat, too. The latest update with the menu makes this even more useful!
