Live View – See what your car sees with the always-on camera from anywhere in the world

Smart Sense Parking –Your iQ detects threats using Spatial Awareness and custom-trained AI to monitor movement around your car and record the footage. Such as potential break ins, a car backing up too close, or people loitering around your car. Intervene from anywhere with voice* or an alarm to act before anything happens.

Witness Mode – Never face danger alone again. Simply say “start Witness Mode” anytime you feel on edge, in a road rage incident, or if you’re pulled over. Your iQ will lock onto the incident and share live footage with a trusted contact so they can step in and help.

Guardian Mode* – Stay in control with Guardian Mode. Set speed and location limitations on your iQ and get a notification if your car breaks them. Guardian Mode can provide reassurance if a family member has borrowed the car, or if you have given your car to a valet or mechanic, so you don’t have to worry about the ‘what if’s.



Emergency SOS – Get instant life-saving help. If you, or whoever is driving are unresponsive after an accident, your iQ will share location and key medical details and dispatch the emergency services.

Roadwatch AI* - AI comes to life. Go back and see the evidence with Roadwatch AI adding crucial context to any recording. See approximate speed and distance of vehicles around you, whilst also classifying pedestrians, cyclists, vehicles and more to track their movements as you watch. Prove your side of the story.

Always-On 4G Connection - Access your data anytime, anywhere. Our secure encryption keeps all your data safe. Your iQ uses an always-on 4G connection to make your files accessible, no matter where you are.

The Nextbase iQ app is only compatible with Nextbase iQ 1K, 2K and 4K Smart Dash Cam models.

Many of these features can be utilised with activation of the Protect and Protect Plus paid subscriptions via the iQ app.

Please note Solo (free) subscription is also available for text alerts and voice command features only. We recommend subscribing to Protect or Protect Plus to utilise the all the smart features of your Nextbase iQ.

Whatever you do, avoid this company like the plague!!! I bought the iQ 4K camera a year ago because of ALL of the features that it provided. When I purchased/installed it, then is when I learned that not all features were ACTUALLY available. I don't mind paying a yearly service fee, but you have to do your part and provide everything you have advertised. Also, I have had some recent issues with my camera as well, where it keeps refreshing. This shouldn't be a problem for a camera this new.

I got this camera for all the features. though it doesn't seem to record everything. I've had some close calls while driving and when I get into the app to pull the feed there is nothing there. There are either gaps in the recording or it says the camera was not connected/unavailable. Makes me think of how reliable it really is if I do get in an accident.

great idea if only it worked. considering this is a paid subscription plus a hefty price tag for the camera I really was expecting a polished experience, but it regularly doesn't load clips and the one time I actually needed the camera for a traffic incident the video quality was too poor to make out the plate even though I have the 1440p version... had to cancel my subscription because it just isn't worth it. in answer to the reply, I did. I transfered it directly from the SD card.
