Barely an upgrade above a music player Does not start playing when connecting to my car. Other players will start playing when connected to my car. Will randomly decide to lose place in the middle of a book. Big buttons are nice until you accidentally press them. No image of book being read. Maybe I was spoiled by my old audiobook player that is no longer receiving updates.

Update - still absolutely the best. One of those apps that just works, day in day out. It plays audiobooks clearly and accurately, lets you pause them and make bookmarks, doesn't lose your place, and even has a history of other books so you can resume anywhere in your audio book library and listen to multiple books at once. the free version does almost everything I need and had no ads - but I bought the pro version both to support it and because I wanted an equalizer :)

A great lightweight player packed with functionality. Very flexible in its settings like on adjusting the forward/rewind button times. Great to be able to set the narration speed - most audiobooks seem to be narrated at slow speeds. Love the sleep timer. Can be used for all sorts of audio files, not just ebooks. Dark mode supported. Missing a star because the file manager side of it seems totally illogical until the root folder the books are in can be found Using the paid version - well worth it
