Making handcrafted items to sell can be very rewarding but it can also be quite difficult to work out what to charge for your creations.

With Craft Pricing Calculator you simply enter the cost of your materials, how many items you made and how long it took you to make them.

The app will then show you how much each item cost to make and what you should be charging to break even or make a profit.

You can tailor the hourly rate to suit your skill level and you can also add an optional profit markup for selling handmade goods at retail prices.

I've been using this app for several years and last month I would have given a 5, but now it opens with ads! I do like not having to enter my info every time now. Gives accurate results quickly without having to drag out my laptop spreadsheet. I can convert from U.S. dollars to euros if needed. I just wish I could bypass that ad!

The new update is okay. Having the hourly rate and percent of profit on a separate screen is cumbersome. I charge different hourly rates depending on the process I use, so now i have to click a different screen each time I use this program. Also, to figure cost, wholesale, and retail now takes 4 steps instead of 2. I do like the calculated page with the output. It would be great if one page has the hourly rate, the time used, material costs, wholesale percentage and retail percentage on it.

The constant and repetitive ads are extremely annoying, especially when they appear for minor actions. Additionally, the app's usability has become very difficult. Previously, all the features were easily accessible on one page, but now it's a time-consuming task to find them on different pages. I used to highly recommend this app to my artist friends, but sadly, I can no longer do so due to its overly complicated navigation.
