Ratings and reviews

I mainly use this for the alerts. Radar refreshes every 10 minutes. A lot can happen in 10 minutes. Tempest no longer works with weather bug either. Bottom line there are a lot better apps for radar. But the alerts are faster than TV or radio. So it has a place, just not for up to the minute radar.

It's a great app. Been using it for years. Recently, the app became a bit confusing with regards to the paid versions. I'm paying for WeatherBug apparently, but not WeatherBug Elite anymore? Also - concerned about information sharing, especially with regards to location data. To have the alerts really be meaningful, you need to have location data on all the time - but with their sharing policy, I'm less inclined to do so.

Updating my review to a 4 star as there has been some positive updates. The app was updated to include past radar, which was a missing feature I complained about and this is greatly appreciated! I have been using WeatherBug for many years and the app by far as the best weather maps out of any weather app!! I particularly like the pressure map as it's very informative and easy to see. I enjoy that there are constant updates and improvements and they actually listen to user feedback!
