Downloaded app to use my Beoplay EX earbuds. Coming from Sennheiser, this app lacks the ability to customize touch controls. More importantly, the app is unusuable without location access. I cannot add products or use the basic app controls for my earbuds after trying to reconnect my product to the app. My current situation disallows me from using location services.

Also, Android requires location permission for Bluetooth Low Energy to connect to your device, unlike iOS, it is not required. Rest assured, we do not collect any information. Laggy app takes forever to pair with earbuds, if at all. In addition, you can barely tell which mode is activated because the sound prompts are either too low, or indiscernible from each other. It's not that hard to either have a voice prompt, or make the sound for noise cancelling and transparency mode different from each other. People didn't spend $300+ to have a $1 app experience.

The app should have a better equalizer. It should also have a sound leak test, like the Panasonic/Technics app does. It needs to personalize the sound experience for each individual. The noise canceling, quiet, and ambient sound options should tell you which one you've selected. It's just very lack-luster for how much these earbuds cost!
