Disclaimer
Unfortunately due to lack of a public API from Google there isn't a known way to fetch Reminders from Google Calendar. As much as I would love to do so (because I use Reminders myself all the time) at present time that is, unfortunately, impossible.

Since they removed Simple Calendar Widget from the play store I couldn't find anything that was worthy of my home screen. This thing is functional, elegant, minimal, and easy to configure. Props to the dev for not overloading this with useless functions and not forcing the user to use some BS third party calendar.

Fingers crossed that the developer fixes the one day off issue that seemed to be caused by Leap Day. Been using the app for years and absolutely loved it until this happened. For now, I'll need to find an alternative for an agenda widget. Update: Leap Day issues fixed! Yay!

I can set it up to be pretty visually appealing and connected with my Google calendar, but it really won't sync on its own. If I change or delete an existing event, I'll have to open the settings of this app and then close for the widget to update the event. Update: and on my Pixel 5, I can't have a transparent background, or it will constantly show the app's logo in the background.
