A 60 second measurement each morning will tell you how stressed, recovered and ready for training your body is. HOW IT WORKS
Heart rate variability is a proven window into the body’s nervous system, going beyond a simple resting heart rate (RHR) measure. Training is all about stress and recovery and a hard session will lower your HRV score. By using ithlete to monitor training stress you can adjust sessions according to your body’s current readiness to train, improve and perform.

Please also note that this HRV app is NOT a heart rate monitor app, which people use during exercise. The ithlete app is an app that uses heart rate variability to indicate your state of fatigue, recovery and readiness to train following a 1 minute morning measure, and it is not used during the actual exercise.

Has started popping up a window asking for a rating. The window has no buttons, no option to cancel, or even to go to the playstore, so the app has to be force closed. Since it insists on a rating, a generous two stars. It used to be good - I began using it years ago with the plug-in sensor adapter, but now other free programs such as EliteHRV or HRV4Training give much more information, and aren't as flakey as Ithlete in connecting to different heart rate monitors.

Constant errors maker the monitor unusable. I can't see how this is a subscription app, as it cannot even fulfil its most basic function of recording a HRV reading. Each time you try take a reading it comes up with error after error, making the process take several frustrating minutes. I will definitely be looking elsewhere for a different monitor and app.

Not worth paying for. Poor customer service. Recent user interface changes were effectively a down grade. No subscription renewal reminders so money is just automatically taken - I don't know any other app that does that! There are much better free alternatives available.
