GLUTEN FREE SCAN is a free application that quite exhaustively analyze the presence of gluten in a food product from the "scan" of the barcode and read all the ingredients and titles cited in the manufacturer's recipe.
Every word, every word, every title, every ingredient, every additive listed on product labeling is inspected to present the final report and a detailed conclusion on the presence or absence of gluten:
- FRANK PRESENCE OF GLUTEN
- MAY CONTAIN GLUTEN (each element of the report is to be evaluated by the user himself or not to raise the risk)
- NO GLUTEN.
From the "scan" of a commodity, the application then queries a food database and load all collected items: photo, brand, labels or awards, ingredients, additives, allergens and traces of cross contamination.
The application uses a specially developed algorithm for analyzing the scanned product, with the final a full and detailed report, and a clear and explicit result:
- EPI GREEN = absence of gluten
- EPI ORANGE = possible presence of gluten
- EPI RED = frank presence Gluten
The well developed algorithm can replace alone the whole human reading can be made to the labeling of a food.
