The LEGO® Super Mario™ app is the official companion app for the ever-expanding range of LEGO® Super Mario™ building sets. The app enhances the creative experience for builders with digital instructions, tips for different ways to rebuild levels and play, and other inspiring features.
With the LEGO® Super Mario™ app you can:
• Establish a Bluetooth® connection between the app and brick-built LEGO® Mario™, LEGO® Luigi™ and/or LEGO® Peach™ figures.
• Build your sets, easily add them to your digital collection and expand your personalized LEGO® Super Mario™ universe (combining Expansion Sets with a Starter Course for interactive play).
• Get easy-to-follow 3D building instructions for all of your LEGO® Super Mario™ building sets.
• Check out instructional Play Videos packed with tips and tricks to take your skills to the next level.
• Keep track of your digital coins after completing a level in real life with at-a-glance results for collected coins, defeated enemies and completed obstacles.

I had a previous review that stated I couldn't start the app, but it was only because of a server issue or something along those lines. I can say that the app itself is much more convenient than an instruction manual. The ability to move the preview around is a huge plus, but I wish there was a way to make the purple outlines around the pieces thinner.

We experienced a problem with our server which caused the app to crash, we're very sorry about that! Great app and all, works pretty well, and I get trying out new stuff with technology, but the idea of ONLY being able to see the instructions for lego sets on mobile devices? That's just too much. I don't mind there being an interactive app, but at least include paper instructions in the box! Otherwise the product might as well be useless without a way to access the app! I hope this does not continue with other sets, as the app clearly doesn't work very well. Also, can't wait for Luigi!

The new update is a downgrade. I think, like another review said, the 'set collection' should return as its own option and the 'creation suggestions' could be its own thing too, not the main portion of the app. It was fun to see the world grow as I collected more sets. I know that as more sets are released, space becomes an issue, but I am sure LEGO can find a creative way to handle low-spec devices. Creativity is your specialty!

Your sets are still there! Just tap the booklet and plus sign in the top right corner and make sure you’re logged into the right LEGO® Account. There you'll also find the instructions and videos. The Level Mixer is a new feature that replaces the sets on the main screen of the app. Click on the reload button to see new levels. 😊
