Ratings and reviews

Works pretty well, rewind is a little awkward but once you figure out it works well enough. Very ad heavy though. And it loses a star because it won't work on Android without a sign in. The glitchiness has been getting worse. There was one show where it simply cut out mid-sentence and showed episode is being done. Part two of that episode was incomplete in the subtitles to match either. Seems like it's getting unreliable.

The app will malfunction on my phone. It won't allow me to see more than 5 mins at a time. It will cut out randomly, the volume will disappear. If I stream it to my Chromecast, however, it is perfect. I do love the choices, the recommendations and how my friend and I can share a library with sooooo many titles. It's been one of my favorite streaming platforms and it would be 5 stars if the app was less glitchy and I could watch reliably on my phone.

The mobile app looks great but doesn't let me access my library while still showing my collection under recommend. Also stops while playing content about every 60 seconds. I thought the playback issue was a bug but I just became aware that it is the playback limit unless you subscribe to Plex Pass. I changed my review and rating from 3 to 5 stars. They allow you to access a great amount of features at no cost so knocking them for charging a fee for additional, less used features would be petty.
