About this app

Do you ever experience palpitations or would you like to be in control of your heart health? With FibriCheck, you can check your heart rhythm and heart rate, and log your blood pressure values. With this medically certified health app, you can keep an eye on your heart health, detect cardiac arrhythmias in time and avoid complications such as stroke. If you have already been diagnosed with a cardiac arrhythmia, you can use FibriCheck to monitor your condition.

Measure your heart rhythm with your smartphone

> Quick and easy: Measuring your heart rhythm and heart rate takes only 60 seconds. Place your finger on the camera of your smartphone, and put your mind at ease.

> No need for another device: All you need to measure your heart rhythm and heart rate is your smartphone.

> Measure whenever you want: Are you experiencing symptoms, such as palpitations? Open the app and take a measurement immediately.

> Regular measurements: With FibriCheck, we recommend measuring your heart rhythm twice daily or when you experience symptoms. This way any changes in your heart rhythm will be detected more quickly.

> Medical experts: Has our app detected an irregular measurement? Ask our team of medical experts to review your results.

Add your blood pressure values

> Optional: add images and notes.

> Add the symptoms you are experiencing.

> The results of your blood pressure measurements are integrated into your end reports, which you can easily share with your physician.

> Developed together with physicians: FibriCheck was developed in collaboration with a reputable Belgian hospital and university.

> Medically approved: FibriCheck is trusted by physicians and researchers worldwide thanks to its CE marking (CE1639) and FDA clearance. Please note: in The United States of America, FibriCheck can only be used under the supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner.

I don't find it easy to get my finger in the right position for good quality readings, despite trying different fingers, in different positions, different pressures, etc. Of course, I accept that this may be more to do with the phone camera, rather than the app, but it does not result in a good user experience. What I find very frustrating with the app is that it spends 60 seconds making a recording, and then before giving a readout expects you to enter any symptoms and what you were doing prior to making the recording. Only then does it inform you that the data were of insufficient quality to analyse and you need to repeat the process. It would be so much better if it were quicker to say that the data were useless! On the positive side, the one-page reports produced by FibriCheck when it works are very informative and useful. Regrettably, I won't be renewing my subscription to FibriCheck because a month ago I purchased a one lead Kardia ECG which is far less frustrating to use.

This is a very useful app that everyone should really use! Arrhythmia can be a very silent killer if mot detected and thos app does so very efficiently, as long as you use it straight off the cuff without trying to sync it with other third party devices such as fitbits etc! Just start the app and place your index finger on the camera, and on one minute, you will get a reading. Simple! I would rather use this app to find out what's wrong, rather than think it's unnecessary. A great App! Use it!!

Seems like a really useful app for people with known arrythmias. Don't think most of the population should install this as it could lead you to think you've a problem when you don't. Biggest problem is that it has very unstable Bluetooth when trying to use it with a Fitbit Ionic: constantly get an error message when trying to take a reading that Bluetooth is in error. Restarting watch and phone doesn't cure it, despite Bluetooth working within other apps. Too unstable/buggy to be useful.
