About this app

Rural Response is an emergency alert app that is specifically designed for those that live in low-population density areas. It allows users, who are in an emergency, to alert other nearby users so they may offer assistance. In some remote locations, there aren't enough resources to provide proper emergency services including hospitals, ambulance, police, and fire. Rural Response was designed to allow emergency alerts to be broadcast out to other users who are much closer in proximity than those services, thus allowing help to arrive faster. Utilize your neighbors and family to create a micro-emergency system for those closest to you. You can change the radius of your alerts, respond or decline alerts, and ask for additional help after you arrive. Even when you’re away from home, Rural Response will find the closest users and alert them of any emergency situations to make sure you get the fastest help possible.
Other features include an Informational Alert portion where non-emergency alerts can be sent to those in close proximity to you. Share information like wild animal sightings, inclement weather, or local happenings. Add pictures and notes to all informational events and track their progress from the app.
