Ratings and reviews

The Shining Force games are S Tier hands down, but the emulator has two fundamental flaws. The D-Pad is horrendous. You're gonna be running all over the place when you just wanted to move one space to the left. The save feature sometimes leads to an endless load screen every time, and the way only way out is to restart the app. Don't try to rely on it. Huge plus, ads in the unpaid version are very unintrusive and minimal, but I went ahead and bought the game bundle for $5.

Literally at the mercy of whether or not an ad will load to save your game. Played for awhile tried to save my game and the ad would not play therefore making it impossible to save. This happened to me multiple times over the course of playing for about a week, a couple times where I had played for an hour or so. In game support basically told me to deal with it so I'll be uninstalling and downloading an emulator to play these games instead.

Love these games but they made them unplayable. Saves are randomly lost, dozens of hours just gone with no warning or explanation. That's completely unacceptable. I emailed support and will change this to 5 stars if they fix it. Also ads have to be watched completely or it makes you watch another one, except it often thinks you didn't and you get to watch 2 anyways. D-pad sucks. It prioritizes diagonal inputs. Makes cheat codes impossible to enter. This is why emulation exists.
