About this app

Dance is highly effective for boosting fitness. A good dance session gives a seriously good cardio workout and burns a surprising amount of calories.

It is well-known that by allowing your body to move whilst feeling enchanted by the music can be a therapy of its own – even if you move out of rhythm or dance to your own beat. Dancing releases those feel-good endorphins into your bloodstream whilst reducing your stress levels – basically guaranteeing that you’ll leave the dance floor feeling more uplifted and energetic.

Doing Zumba two or three times a week, combined with weekly strength training sessions and a balanced diet, may help you meet your weight loss goals. Zumba cardio fitness is great fun and an excellent way to burn those calories and aid in weight loss. As you dance you are exercising and raising your heart rate, however because of the fun party atmosphere Zumba cardio fitness does not feel a chore to burn calories.

As your body gets used to a particular exercise routine, you may find your weight loss begins to tail off. Finding an enjoyable alternative fitness workout can be tricky, and keeping to it can be even harder. For over ten years, the Latin based aerobic dance and fitness sensation Zumba has been gaining popularity. Popular in homes and gyms around the world for its focus on fun, high energy fitness, a Zumba workout burns calories and helps you to lose weight.

Workouts can vary in intensity, and calorie burn from a Zumba session depends on an individual's weight, fitness level and muscle composition. During an hour long session you can expect to burn anywhere from 300 to 600 calories depending on the intensity of your Zumba class.

Like most forms of aerobic or cardio exercise, dancing has many health benefits, including weight loss. Besides burning a good number of calories, dancing can also increase your muscle strength. Building lean muscle mass may help you burn fat and tone your muscles.

No guided workouts with step by step pointers. Just picture of dance move. If you try the workout for beginners, you can purchase access or unlock the day's workout by watching an ad. However, at the end of watching the ad, when I tried to load today's workout it prompted me to watch an ad to unlock it... Again! It did this 3 times before I gave up in disgust and uninstalled the app. Waste of time!

I would give this no stars if I could. I just paid for the 1 month weightloss challenge and there is absolutely no music. You're not dancing your doing a workout to absolutely no sound there's a chime that goes on and off between your workouts to let you know the next one is coming but this was a waste of time and money.
