My Voice, a simple Text To Speech (TTS) app, helps you to find your voice again. Simply enter your desired text, and let My Voice speak it aloud for you, using your chosen Text To Speech (TTS) engine.

My Voice Text To Speech (TTS) supports over 30 languages, depending on your device settings. Please see the bottom of this description for a full list.

My Voice is featured by the MNDA (Motor Neurone Disease Association) as a recommended communication aid.

Speech & Voices:
• Pause and Resume speech. Depending on your TTS engine, device OS level, and other settings, this functionality may be Play/Stop

• Favourite phrases - save phrases to your favourites so you can quickly access them later
• Categories - create your own categories and save words and phrases into them so you can group common phrases together

We have tried to develop this app with accessibility in mind, with simplicity and ease of use as top priorities. The app features content descriptions for all major functions, as well as adhering to minimum touch target size guidelines and other accessible design guidelines.

For best results, we recommend using the Google Text To Speech (TTS) engine as default, which you can change in your device settings. If you use an alternative Text To Speech (TTS) engine, such as Samsung, My Voice will still work, but your list of supported languages will be different and not as extensive.

Ratings and reviews

I have occasional speech loss and this app is a huge help when that happens. It's the only AAC app I've found on Android that's free and doesn't look like it's meant for infants. Too many AAC apps are very brightly coloured and that hurts my eyes. I love the simple UI and lack of visual clutter. Only real downside for me is that I have to type everything out which makes things difficult as I can't spell very well due to my disabilities

Great! I lost my voice but have to teach English. Saved me. Also the voices are good. My beginner student understood so that is amazing. I only had one problem: when programming phrases, changing the order does not work. It shows it in the new order but when clicking it plays the old phrase that was in that place. 5 stars regardless!

Is the best tts app there is - trust me I tried the first 30. The voice personalization is really nice and the dev is very responsive. I got the paid version just for removing the ads. The other features are alright I suppose. The only thing I'd improve is the overall volume, feels a little low and the feature of deleting the text when the app goes to the background.
