I love this app. I'm a PhD student with ADHD and I have a really hard time focusing on reading; listening helps a lot. It's not perfect, it does randomly spell words out (usually in a title). Occasionally it will pause, usually between paragraphs, but will pick back up in a few seconds. Auto-scroll doesn't always work, and if you pause and try to scroll away while it's on, it'll keep bouncing you back to current location. Pronunciation is 90% correct. Avoids headers, footnotes, authors, etc.

Big disappointment. It mispronounces so many words, randomly spells some words instead of reading them, can't distinguish footnotes from text, reads some footnotes and not others. The worst part is that it freezes every few minutes so it's completely useless if you're driving or running or in any situation where you can't scroll to find your place, then get it going again.

I never write reviews, so understand the level of frustration required for me to post this. DO NOT pay for this app! Even a $20 yearly "deep discount" is a waste. It doesn't work 8 times out of 10. I am forced to sign out and sign back in every few minutes just to get it to react. This app shouldn't be marketed by modern software standards. It’s a shame I fell for it. Customer support only offers polite, completely empty responses with zero actual results. Do not buy!
