This app uses too much battery as it "runs in the background", & I dont like that you can't clear the notification away without forcing the app to stop running. I dont like having the app run 24/7, so tried to "force stop" but less than 5 mins later it pops up in my notifications that the app started "running" again...on its own! Also ever since I downloaded this app my phone has been saving random images to my photo gallery.

The app appears to be a huge drain on my cellphone's battery. I never really cared for persistent notification icons running from an app (showing in the upper left of the screen and on the lock screen unable to be dismissed). I rather an app run silently in the background (also, not being a major drain on the battery). In addition, the notifications are haphazard, extremely delayed, or not picked up at all. Since I've been using this device/app, the phone call notification worked one time; the sedentary reminder worked once and then only when I was trying to sleep; Facebook notification worked two or three times and the permission required for this function refuses to stay "on" for some reason (turning itself off after a time); I am unable to get the camera function (timed photo, "Shake for selfie") to work as that function, though present in the app, won't allow it to be selected. The watch/device seems very dependent on the app, so if the app is improved so will the device. Random: For those who are having trouble with the clock showing 24hr format as opposed to 12hr format or vice versa; bring up the clock then long press the button and it switches between the two formats.

Outside of the sleep quality function being way off, everything else seems to be working fine and we have two of them. The blood pressure feature is surprisingly close as is heart rate and step functions. Timer works flawlessly as do notifications. Yes, if you let your battery run dead you have to repair it... Duh. That takes all of 15 seconds to do. I like the watch and pretty much everything it does. For the price it's thumbs up from me and we've had them for 9 months.
