About this app

Moneon is a free app for personal finance management (pfm). With it, you can track personal or family daily spending, set budgets, control debts, reduce excessive expenses and save money! Plan your financial future now – Moneon will help you! 💫

App features:

💸 Personal finance management (pfm). You note your daily spending (our calculator will help you to count), divide it into categories (e.g. food, education, purse) and see the extra costs you can cut.

👓 Income accounting. You can also add income (salary, bonuses, scholarships) to see the current balance.

👛 An unlimited number of wallets. Create a wallet for personal, family, work or any other finance. We advise to not mix up personal finance with others and not spread them into different wallets (e.g., cash and card) cause it makes the whole management process harder.

📍 Categories and subcategories. Remember to divide your spendings into categories. It’ll help you to highlight the unnecessary expenses. You can always add your own categories.

🔖 Tags. It allows you to group expenses different categories with the special factor. It can be a trip, special event, location or credit card spendings. It’s totally up to you :)

💼 Budgeting tool & calcualtor. Set a budget on the whole wallet or certain category/tag. It’s perfect for tracing and saving your own money. You can set any period for it, daily, weekly, monthly.

🏦 Currencies. Moneon supports most of the existing currencies. Tap on currency symbol while creating a new wallet and pick the one you need.

📱 All main features are located in one place on the Summary page. You can easily change the wallets, add transactions, set budgets, manage debts. It’s definitely easier to analyze your finance this way.

The functionality of the app can be expanded by purchasing a subscription to the premium package. It includes:

🏡 Shared wallets. Synchronized wallets for family members, colleagues or friends. With it you can set and manage family budgets and more. Every transaction is saved in the cloud.

📊 Financial analysis and reporting. Create reports and analyze your financial statement.

📮 Export your data in csv

📝 Debts tracker. Control your debts, plan payoffs and calculator. We’ll remind you when it’s time to return the money or pay the bills.

📷 Photo attachments. Add bills and slips photos to your transactions to highlight it among the others.

Ratings and reviews

It generally works. but feels more like a proof of concept than a proper app. Eg. you don't get to see all spending categories for a given month on the summary screen, and when you tap "all categories", it goes into the current month instead of all categories of the month you were looking at. You can't export your data, either. And plenty of minor annoyances (no dark theme support, spelling errors like "healtcare", etc.). All this makes it feel somewhat half-baked and unprofessional.

I couldn't interrupt the tutorial to change or check the settings (currency) before entering expenses. Had to uninstall the app. Then, after reinstalling, I have no ability to enable the tutorial at will, only skip it forever. It does seem like a minor gripe, but especially with the email registration right out of the gate, it's not great; I ended up with a different tracker that doesn't have either problems.

This app has great potential but it lacks many features. First and very important for me are meaningful widgets. I have multiple accounts and I want to see the balance in each every time. Also one wallet is one account so no transfer between accounts. It has very simple and pleasing UI however and since the app is probably quite new, features will be added eventually. Haven't tested the premium features since there is no trial, but I'll check back again after some time to see if there're improvements. Keep going! I'm sure that this app will be awesome soon!
