About this app

The SCORE (Systematic COronary Risk Evaluation) calculator allows you to estimate a person’s risk of dying from cardiovascular disease over the next 10 years.
A risk of less than 1% is considered low
within ≥1 to 5% – moderate
≥5 to 10% – high
≥10% – very high
The SCORE scale is not used if the patient:
cardiovascular diseases, based on vascular atherosclerosis
diabetes mellitus type I and II
very high blood pressure and/or total cholesterol levels
chronic kidney disease
If these conditions are present, the risk is considered high to very high.

The SCORE2 and SCORE2-OP scores predict the 10-year risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events in people aged 40–69 (SCORE2) and 70 years older (SCORE2-OP).
The results of the study on the development and validation of updated models for predicting the risk of fatal and non-fatal cardiovascular diseases were published on June 13, 2021 in the European Heart Journal. Two new risk scores, SCORE2 and SCORE2-OP, have been proposed. The SCORE2 scale allows you to assess cardiovascular risk for people aged 40-69 years, and the SCORE2-OP scale for people over 70 years old.
The assessment of cardiovascular risk in these algorithms takes into account age, gender, smoking status, systolic blood pressure and non-HDL cholesterol. Algorithms are presented for low, moderate, high, and very high risk populations.
An important change from the previous SCORE score is the inclusion of nonfatal cardiovascular events, rather than just the risk of death from cardiovascular disease.
The degree of risk varies depending on the age of the patient.
