About this app

Sexual Desire is a powerful brainwave sound therapy designed to address hypoactive sexual desire dysfunction. Hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD), also known as inhibited sexual desire (ISD), is a sexual dysfunction characterized by a lack or absence of sexual fantasies and desire for sexual activity, as determined by a clinician. People with HSDD may not initiate or respond to their partner's desire for sexual activity, and may experience sexual aversion or apathy.

There are different subtypes of HSDD, including general lack of sexual desire, situational lack of sexual desire (such as lacking desire for a current partner), acquired lack of sexual desire (which begins after a period of normal sexual functioning), and lifelong lack of sexual desire.

Neuroimaging studies have explored the brain regions activated in women while viewing sexually explicit videos. These studies provide evidence that limbic, somatosensory, visual, and association cortices are active when women with normal sexual function watch videos of heterosexual couples engaging in sexual activity. Specifically, the brain areas activated in the processing of sexually explicit stimuli include the occipitotemporal, anterior cingulate, medial prefrontal, orbitofrontal, precentral, insular cortex, hypothalamus, thalamus, and amygdala.

Sexual Desire consists of two different sessions, each lasting 22 minutes. The free version is 14 minutes long. To use the application, it's necessary to have large headphones or high-quality earphones with the Left and Right placed correctly.

Brainwave sound therapy offers a safe and non-invasive option for those looking to improve their sexual desire. As always, it's crucial to consult with a healthcare professional to determine the best course of treatment for your individual needs. Enjoy your experience with Sexual Desire.
