It will detect any cameras which are transmitting data to its owner or creating records. You can even connect to the hidden camera and locate its position!

The app asks for a "Local network permission" but my phone doesn't show a local network permission. 2 stars.

This app is not legitimate. You're required to have wifi apparently, and I dont, first of all. Also in the app there's just nothing there. It's BS. Their terms and conditions aren't written by a professional, clearly. This almost definitely not an app you should use or purchase.

This app says Local Network Permission is required, so I go to settings and I don't see anything like that. Even Google doesn't know how to access Local Network Permission on Android, only on Apple.
