Family Calendar Planner App - FamCal is great for family, group or anyone who needs to stay organized together. You can schedule together, achieve projects together. There is no limit in events, tasks and notes, you can create as many as you need.

Permissions Overview:
1. Calendar: FamCal needs this permission to read events from local calendars
2. Contacts: FamCal needs this permission to read contact from local device when you choose to import a contact
3. Location: FamCal needs this permission to get your location when you add an event with location info
4. Storage: FamCal needs this permission to read photos from Gallery when you choose to upload a photo to a memo or write photos to Gallery when you choose to download photos from memos

Ratings and reviews

I do overall like the basic functionality of this app; however, in the most recent update, they removed the lifetime one-time payment which ran about ~$79.99, and didn't give any warning or put it in their patch notes. This app is nice, but not ~$207 a year (if paying weekly at $3.99) nice. Edit: It is also, not worth the yearly cost of $39.99. if you select that option.

Update after 5+ years: I went for the premium version a few years ago and the additional functions plus the latest update make this an indispensable app. I originally got this to synch info across iPhone and Android. We're both on Android now, but I'm not giving it up. I'd been looking for a clean, simple app like this for a long time. There's no longer scenarios where either my wife or I is unaware of an appointment the other one has.

Okay, good on TinyWorks for developing a shared privacy oriented calendar app. But seriously, $4/week? That's over$200/year. That's more than I paid for my Pixel 7 phone. For the record, the app clearly states upon installation that I will begin being charged in 3 days. Some reviews mentioned it was free, but those were several years old.
