Beanstack helps schools, libraries, and families bring the fun back to reading with reading challenges, easy tracking, and insightful data.

We invite students, families, and readers of all ages to a world of reading inspiration and motivation. You can create profiles for everyone in your family within a single library or Beanstack Go account, or you can use SSO to sign in to any of your students’ school accounts and swiftly toggle between them. Beanstack helps you grow your reading habits together, while also logging and tracking reading progress individually. We never sell your data or use it to show you ads, so Beanstack is safe for everyone.

Ratings and reviews

I love Beanstack, but I am running into a new issue. When I try to add a new account, it logs me out of every account, tells me they have been "successfully deleted," and then "something went wrong." I can log back into any of them individually, but if I try to set up more than one library, it happens again. I cleared the cache, uninstalled, and reinstalled the app, but the issue persists. We're heading into Summer Reading Challenge season, so I hope the issue will be fixed soon!

As a parent/guardian I really wish you were able to create an account and have multiple profiles (for each of your students). Unfortunately because of the way this app was built, you have to log out and log in to switch between your students. It makes logging reading for multiple students a major pain. The program also glitches substantially when you log more than 2 or 3 books at a time. It's very frustrating to be forced to use this app to log required reading.

Great app to keep track of your books. You can use both duration and page number to track where you are or just skip straight to finished. This got 4 stars because one thing I wish it had was a private noting ability. I'm able to keep track of books I read but not able to make personal notes on how I liked or disliked it, without posting a review to the whole community. Sometimes I have things I personally dislike (especially if I didn't finish) that have nothing to do with the author's skill.
