You need to make an account and allow precise location tracking at all times to use the app. revoking location access will kick you out to the permissions screen. With the CRH18L the app doesn't do anything the screen on the fridge already does. You can't calibrate the thermometer, you can't see charge/discharge speed, and you can't even disable the beeps on button press.

I picked up the 80qt stainless version with a back up battery. the cooler is great and I like it enough. the buttons feel a bit cheap tbh. Im glad I got the back up battery but its kinda over priced for a plastic battery with what seems minimal for power for that size. ***the app is terrible! feels very intrusive for a simple cooler control. I dont need push notifications, nor do they need to know my precise location. Just need a few cooler stats and controls. deleted it. coolers cool.

unfortunately I'm not even able to use this app. It refuses to follow through the verification process when registering a new account. every single password I enter as a "new" password does not suffice the minimum requirements. no matter how many numbers, symbols, or characters are used.
