No ads, just game bundles shown. Having an active alliance helps because the upgrades get tedious, especially for higher levels. The breakthrough and special ops features are fun yet frustrating because it's hard sometimes. You need patience to figure out the patterns. Promos show you have to pick a side of the road to clear obstacles, but in the game, sometimes it forces your hero right into it. Feels like the game cheats a little. Many people complain about that. Still, it's fun for now.

I got to about level 10 before I would get stuck doing hours of boring point and click stuff just to upgrade buildings and heros enough to continue with the actual playable battles. The Frontline breakthrough levels are the only part that's almost like the ads but I keep getting stuck on an impossible level or stuck because I have to upgrade bldgs and can't replay any of the levels

Enjoyed the game for a while until Frontline Breakthrough ruined the experience for me personally. Levels 16 was hard enough and now level 40 is practically unbeatable. I can't beat it along with many others, it's incredibly difficult. I've spent weeks trying to to beat it and it has now taken the enjoyment out of the game. The developers should consider how much time they are wasting for players and creating misery on top of it. It's a shame to put so much time in a game and get to this point.
