Ratings and reviews

This identifying app for insects works well for most bugs. It doesn't, however, always correctly identify them despite the various angles. Most insects don't like the frequencies found in a phone's camera (science behind this statement won't fit in the comment section, so look it up!). As a result, the insects tend to move away before I am able to snap the perfect angle or take multiple shots. I changed my 2 star to a 3 star as it is still the best option for this kind of app on Android devices.

I am a long time subscriber for Picture This. Insect version is a good app but I had a very hard time figuring out how to cancel it after the trial period. I had to use the link in the email about the subscription. Nothing to cancel it in the google play store worked, nor within the app itself. Customer service counts guys. Google lens will destroy all these apps if you dont step it up.

for the free version this app is awesome. well on identification it's pretty decent but you really got a get a good, up close pic for proper identification. otherwise the IDs can be pretty varied. but where the free version lacks is you really don't get much info on what you're IDing. but considering it's a free version (since they allegedly don't sell your data😉) it's not bad at all. I use it a fair amount. thanks folks !
