About this app

The Blood Connection (TBC) service areas include South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia.

Anyone can use our app to easily find and schedule appointments at The Blood Connection donation centers and mobile blood drives.

TBC blood donors may access their donor account to see blood type, blood pressure, hemoglobin and pulse taken at the time of donation, donation history, and eligibility to donate.

TBC accepts volunteer blood donors at age 16 (with signed parental consent) and older. Blood drives are held regularly throughout Upstate South Carolina, Western North Carolina, Raleigh/Triangle Area of North Carolina and Northeast Georgia. Donation centers are located in Greenville, Spartanburg, Easley, Oconee, and Greenwood South Carolina; Hendersonville, Asheville and Raleigh North Carolina. TBC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit licensed by the FDA.

Doesn't even have an option for the promised forty dollars and only gives enough points for a 30$ gift card, it's so incredibly buggy I've had to close and reopen 12 times and it still keeps having issues and kicking me out when trying to redeem gift cards, not even mentioning the issues it kept having when I was creating my account

It's ok. The current version of the app as of 8/10/23 works for a doner to do the mandatory questionnaire as well as to make appointments and track health. But there are some serious bugs and issues around the "Store" part of the app; redeeming points is very buggy and often doesn't respond or worse at all. TBC is always advertising the great rewards but the app to use them has big problems.

Very poor app. Personal data and available points information often doesn't load properly. Restarting the app sometimes helps. Redeeming points fails every time I've tried it. The app doesn't allow saving login username and password in a vault or biometric login. You have to type your username and password evey time. A digital version of the donor card is the most useful part of this app, but taking a picture of your donor card does the same thing without this app wasting phone storage.
