Ratings and reviews

After reading several reviews I agree with most of them. Doesn't really feel like a "dating" app. Better off using Facebook dating or POF. It's ridiculously overpriced. $7 a week, should be $1 a week, they'd be making a lot more money. Limits 5 likes a day, 5? Seems like just another of the tons of new social media apps that come out. sad, cause I was really hoping it would be amazing and help me find someone. Guess not. 😞

I want to love Hiki, but since they added the like option I have stopped matching with people. I tried the 7 day free trial and instantly matched with a few people, but I'm mostly looking for friends. $43.99 a month to make friends? I totally get the need for fees but maybe consider changing the algorithm for the friend seekers. I'm not saying it's on purpose but I can say that I've never seen someone that has liked me turn up in my matching queue, at least not yet.

Alright app, but it turns out the minimum amount for a premium subscription was $20 per week, not $20 for a week like I initially thought. Many of us neurodivergent people, myself included, just can't afford that, and the app wasn't transparent about how the subscription worked. I would not recommend this app to others. Also, matching is behind a paywall, and that should be a basic feature for any dating app. Please stay away from Hiki if you can.
