absolutely unhelpful, app struggles to load, and when it does its prone to freezing. photos in messages fail to load. lastly, I've posted various jobs which hipages have been unable to connect me with any relevant trades. this service is a waste of time.

Beware – Hipages does not properly check licences. I hired a fencing contractor through Hipages, paid a $3,000 deposit, and he never did the work. Instead, he demanded more money and then blocked all contact. NSW Fair Trading later confirmed he was unlicensed for this type of job. The serious concern here is not just one bad tradie, but that Hipages allows anyone to create a profile with no real licence verification for jobs over $5,000. This creates a platform where scammers can operate freel

Poor quality app. When replying on messages, after the keyboard pops up, the text box doesn't move up and is obscured by the keyboard. Can't send photos in messages. I press the + button but image picker never shows up.
