As others have said, the app is trash. The other apps from Hover are also misleading but they do work. If you can't connect using this app, try the Hover Boards app (different color thumb nail directly on Hovers website). This app may not work with a newer Android device, so if you have an IOS device you are in luck. Had to install it on my sons Ipad, it worked enough to get the scooter connected and was able to manipulate the settings (even though it was displaying the wrong model name scoot)

The app will not find my device to add it to the list of devices even though music is actively playing through the speakers. The Bluetooth on my phone works just fine and my phone is paired with the scooter but it won't show up on the diagnostic app. Hover-1 alpha from amazon

Does not connect to brand new Altai 1 Pro 750 ordered from an authorized reseller. The speed is limited and it can be changed in the app, which does not connect! How do I connect this to Bluetooth before I return it as defective?
