This is the 2nd type of these things I've had. Different brands. This one was very disappointing. I used it fine on my iPhone, but I just switched to Galaxy S24 this week and now the app won't connect. So now it's useless to me. Which is probably for the best. I ruined my face with this thing weekly. If you are OCD or a picker, don't get one of these, you won't be able to stop!

I've had my phone for three years, and for the first time within three years, my phone started opening and closing random apps on my phone within 30mins of installing this app. Only this app. My phone screen also started turning on and off every few seconds. This app also tells you to disconnect from your own wifi network, and instead connect directly to the camera devices "wifi network", which is the only way you can connect to the devices camera.

Works really well, clear video (which is kinda gross haha) and the wifi settings are typical for a device which is transmitting data/video in real time from the device to your phone. I have a dash cam that works the same way, and a/c & heating units that require them making their own Hotspot for initial setup. Nothing nefarious here (though I admit I don't know why this can't be done via Bluetooth). Anyway, this works like it claims.
