About this app

Since the HSE's National Clinical Programme for ADHD in Adults was launched, many people have told us that they wish they had had better information about Adult ADHD from the very start.

They told us that it can be overwhelming and stressful to try to find accurate information on the internet to help them.

This App was developed by ADHD in Adults National Clinical Programme in partnership with ADHD Ireland in response to that need.

We hope that the content will bridge this information gap in a way that is accessible to you - on your smartphone.

Medically certified information in bite size chunks. The internet is full of half truths and mistruths. I can rely on this info. It's presented concisely and directly as someone with ADHD needs it to be. To those reviewers who characterise ADHDers as being unable to read text, this is totally wrong. Maybe some can't but I'm constantly distracted by interesting articles. Bite-size is perfect.

I Love the idea of this app. But there is So. Much. Reading. Being diagnosed with ADD myself I have the attention span of a dog in a ballpit...so cant focus long enough to get through all the text😅I had hoped this would give me some help with day to day planning etc. But instead it tells me to add stuff to my daily routine while it's the daily routine itself that is the struggle. This is more like the HSE website in appform. Great idea, poor execution, this could definitely be better.

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder, simple as that. No need to change the definition of this disorder. If we classify it as something that is not a disorder, than we can't clinically treat it. We don't want that people with ADHD lose their right to pharmacological treatment. Overall, this is a good app, but it lacks objectivity. It might be important to mention how anxiety and depression are often a byproduct of undiagnosed ADHD. Being unaware of this facts often leads to misdiagnosis.
