I do love some things about this app. It's better than Quizlet. I appreciate that it is free, but they have started putting some features behind a paywall that used to be free. How are you the "#1 free Quizlet alternative" if you're going to start making more and more features paid? The ads have also become very intrusive to the point where it's honestly become slow and difficult to use. Knowt seems to have lost sight of the values they used to have, and I hope they find their way back to them.

I think it's nice for vocabulary, but things could be better. I use this to study Japanese and sometimes the Kanji strokes look a little different from what I expect because of the font. Some strokes will be oddly merged. It makes it a little more challenging to practice physically writing them from these sets. Also, I want the option to sort between terms I know and don't know while studying in flashcard mode. I don't want to just star terms and study them separately.

This app doesn't work on phones but it works great through the computer or tablet. I'm currently using it for nursing to make flashcards. For some reason it takes a long time for the app to open on the phone. I've tried restarting my phone, turning it off and on. Installing and unstalling the app etc,. I even tried contacting Knowt support/customer service through email but they haven't responded for 6 days. I wanted to use the app when I'm on the go but I guess not.
