Ratings and reviews

I really miss the achievements component of the old version. That's what kept me playing. I only spent a couple bucks on this version and I'm glad- it's not worth the same as the old one. Also, I get why so many developers are jumping on board the AI train (no pun intended), but has anyone stopped to ask whether that's what users really want? Maybe a pre-programmed feel to npc opponents, like in the old version of the TTR app, is what makes a video game feel like a video game.

Parts of the game are great others are lacking. There's no longevity to the game as there are no achievements and no personal records. I've played about 30 games and when the leader board reset it was like I hadn't done anything at all. The maps look great but it's very difficult to differentiate between claimed and unclaimed lines. The AI seems better, but the gameplay of the old version seemed just better overall. I have a lot of misclicks that really disrupt the game in a bad way

You can't invite friends to an async game. It's hard to see which routes have been claimed on the map. I'm even having a hard time identifying the colors of the cards. Not an upgrade from the old app. The only new thing I like is choosing what your trains look like. I played many pass and play games during a long car ride and my friend and I both had multiple instances of accidently drawing more tickets while trying to take the top card. Please turn the servers back on for classic.
