About this app

raydeo is a one way downstream message broadcast solution, where users can subscribe to one or more channels that users create and run. Channels can be of 2 types

- Open channels that anybody can join
- Restricted channels than users can join on invite/approval by the channel owner

As a user of the raydeo app, you can do the following –

Subscribe to channels :

Subscribe to channels setup and being run by other users by tapping on the invite/join link sent to you by the respective channel owners

Receive messages sent by the channel broadcaster :

Receive messages instantly on channels you have subscribed to. Receive information specific to communities, interest groups, retail offers and even messages from devices such as IoT sensors and much more, depending on what the channel broadcaster is sending out

Create your own channels :

Setup your channel on the app with a name and description. Choose between ‘Open’ channels which anybody can join and ‘Restricted’ channels which you can join if the channel owner approves your subscription request

raydeo use cases :

- A local community such as a county/district/corporation sending out locality related news and updates to thousands or millions of users instantly
- SOS alerts in case of calamities such as natural disasters
- Schools, colleges, universities to send out broadcasts to large targeted audiences
- Cloud applications to send out status and diagnostics information in real-time to a set of developers in a closed restricted channel (using raydeo APIs)
- IoT sensors to send out alerts to a targeted maintenance staff in a factory/plant (using raydeo APIs)
