I played this by trial and error after trying the useless tutorial, which left me stuck with no moves available. What little I did get from the tutorial didn't match the game, so my city slowly died or drought. I finally deleted the game. FYI... You only get 60 turns. even if you succeed you eventually lose. I've enjoyed Civilization on PC and Xbox. This was not the same. Playing on a 6.5 inch screen is a waste of time.

I'm genuinely shocked that this game is available for mobile devices, despite releasing as a PC-only title (due to hardware limitations). The fact that most of the expansions are included boggles my mind (Total cost is ~$140 USD!) My three gripes: Not all the DLC is included (although there's more than I expected), there is no cross-platform play (which is an issue with Civ games generally), and Netflix account being required (although it being otherwise free is absurd). So it's worth it!

Love it when it works. The June 2025 update broke the game for me. Won't get past the load screen when starting a new game. I reported it to 2k, they asked me to make a ticket with aspyr. Aspyr sent an automated message saying the ticket will be archived in 30 days. hopefully that means they know about the issue and are working on it. I'll update the review if they fix it. the Netflix version and the paid version are broken for me. The game was sometimes buggy but worked prior to this update.
