About this app

With our Level apps, you can easily measure the inclination of your motorhome or caravan using your smartphone or tablet, and also in conjunction with an external sensor, for optimal alignment.

The Level app is available in three different product versions: Level light, Level pro, and Level plus, which differ in their range of features (www.65plusit.de).

In the Level light and Level plus versions, it is possible to connect external angle sensors from WitMotion via Bluetooth in addition to the internal angle sensors of the smartphone or tablet. These measure the vehicle's inclination and can be positioned anywhere in the vehicle. This allows you to conveniently check the inclination directly on your smartphone or tablet from the driver's seat while parking.

The vehicle's inclination is displayed in the app in degrees from back to front and from left to right. If the inclination measurement should always be performed on an inclined surface in the vehicle, the internal and external angle sensors can be calibrated to zero degrees with respect to this inclined surface in Level pro and Level plus, provided the deviation from the zero plane is between -30 and +30 degrees. This, together with the adjustability of the sensor direction, allows for very flexible installation of the external sensor in your vehicle.

In the Pro and Plus versions, the displayed angles are used to calculate how many centimeters the vehicle needs to be raised at each wheel to achieve a level position. For motorhomes, this height adjustment depends on the distance between the wheels on the front and rear axles as well as the wheelbase, which can be individually adjusted in the app. For caravans, the wheelbase and the distance between the axle and the support wheel are taken into account. These functions are not available in Level light.

The sensor for externally measuring inclination angles is not included in the product and must be purchased separately. Compatibility with the WitMotion WT9011DCL, WT901BLECL, and BWT901BLECL5.0 sensors has been tested, but cannot be guaranteed. Our free Level Light app is available for compatibility testing. The sensors have a small battery that can be charged via USB-C. Once switched on, a Bluetooth connection can be established, provided Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone or tablet.

Note: The app is designed for all Android versions starting with version 11. For lower versions starting with version 6.0.1, a preliminary test with the free Level Light app is recommended.
