Gladiator Manager is a turn-based management sim set in ancient Rome, where tactical auto-battles reward smart decisions over reflexes.

Hire and train gladiators with unique traits. Handle injuries, develop skills, balance egos, and survive in a corrupt arena system full of intrigue and betrayal.

Win matches to gain influence, unlock better gear, and enter tougher tournaments. Lose, and your best fighters may be gone forever.

phenomenal game. It is truly one of the best mobile games I've played and the only one I have found like it, which is hard to believe. totally free with the exception of those who wish to buy meta game currency, which is earned through achievements, so not hard to get at all. no ads. I didn't have any bugs. my second try, i had one fighter carry the whole thing but haven't tried ascention yet. hope to see improvements and more games like this

This is one of the best free mobile games out there. It is absolutely worth your time. The depth of the battle system and economy lets you come up with unique builds, and theres so much room for creativity. The lack of microtransactions and ads really makes the experience so much better. That said, there are a lot of balancing issues atm. By mid-late game, you have more money than you could ever spend with no way of putting it to use, and the gameplay slows down quite a bit. Overall very solid.

This game is wonderful. long term progression while also containing short term progression(ascension system versus campign) makes for a captivating experience, and a host of upgrades makes this game one of the best. the only thing I think should be changed is the cloud sync and save slot upgrades, which seem like core game mechanics that one shouldn't have to pay for. Also, I would absolutely love a dungeon crawler/rpg type of game in this format, I think it could be an awesome game.
