The BUTTONS on the homescreen work, "apply now" opens the Web browser inside the app, "phone number" for login brings up the cursor but not the keyboard! I've read this is issue has not been fixed for a looong time. Personally I'd like to stay in the SafeLink app itself, and also, it would be easier to just stay logged in on the app or just enter my phone number, ONE STEP! Please try to fix that phone number button soon. Thank you -Eric

This app deserves a 0 star rating. It worked for a few weeks when it was originally released but now it is completely useless. Entering your phone number to log in doesn't pop up the keyboard and entering it manually through a bluetooth keyboard (or any other method) is futile. It will either lock up or send you to a page that just says "text". Don't bother with this app, and don't bother with Safelink. Edit: It's been almost a full year and it STILL doesn't work.

Abysmally Defunct. The first screen prompts the user to login with their phone number and though a cursor is visible in the form field, no keyboard shows up to enter any text (I have zero problems entering text into other apps and web page forms). if you choose the only other CTA (a button for new users to sign up), you're taken to a webview which does load the Safelink website, but that negates the whole point of downloading an app in the first place. Useless app that doesn't work.
