Could be good, but overrun with annoyances. If you don't give the app notifications permissions-- which you DEFINITELY don't need -- it will pester you about it every time you interact with it. Your only options are 'enable notifications' and 'maybe later '. Apparently 'maybe later' really means ASK ME EVERY TIME I EVEN LOOK AT THIS APP. Additionally, it logs you out like ten minutes and requires you to do a squiggly letter verification every time you use it, which is just swell.

When the app works, it's great. However, oftentimes, when there is an update, I end up having to reinstall the app multiple times. Technical support is useless. They don't know how to work with the app or troubleshoot even the most basic of issues. I end up having to try and resolve my own technical problems. I'm an experienced technology professional in both software engineering and devices. Imagine how frustrating it would be for a non-technical person.

I am on Android 14. When I open the newest Staples App, it shows a QR code to download the same app I tried to open. It also says it is running in chrome (same as older Android phone (android 12) says. The older phone takes me to an app style interface. Not the phone using Android 14. It opens a PC browser style window. But it will only allow me to continue in PC mode. So not the same interface or options as those in the app view. I have messed with every possible related setting I can find.
