this works really well!!! the only thing I'm struggling with is that there doesn't seem to be any emergency shutoff for the alarm, which, as you can imagine, with a QR that only is in a certain place becomes difficult :[[ do sort of wish that was an optional setting in some way. edit: thank you!!!! really, this app seems like one of the best :D very happy to switch

This app is incredible in theory... I printed out the QR code from the app but the camera in the app does not pick it up. It's a giant black barcode on white copy paper....I turn all the lights on in my apartment, make sure its on a flat surface, all the rest... it still wont pick it up. My regular camera will, but scanning it that way wont shut off the alarm. Also, the option to use a local sound file as the alarm doesn't work either.

[edit: the new version is a total transformation. definitely worth a revisit for many if they tried it prior to this week.] ive used this app for a long time (before it was on Google Play) and it is the most reliable alarm, hands down. it supports barcodes too, so you can just scan anything in your home that requires you to get out of bed. big ups for being open source and consistently developed and tested for years. definitely worth the pro upgrade too
