I was looking for these types of apps with one tap desktop resizable widgets when I found this helpful, but I don't know how long I'll keep it without what I'm looking for I'd REALLY LIKE to be able to tap a re_sizable desktop WIDGET WITHOUT opening an app

Almost perfect! The only thing this app needs is to save the (screen) brightness level when you exit the app. Aside from that it's exactly what I need.

The Best flashlight app. No ads, and no additional taps, just open the app and the flashlight turns on. You can even turn it off using the native flashlight toggle.
