About this app

The Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service's mobile app, "Health e-um," provides easy and convenient access to key inquiry and application services available on the agency's website (www.hira.or.kr) on a mobile device.

[Main Features]
1. HIRA Health Map: A location-based map service that provides basic information about hospitals and pharmacies, including addresses, phone numbers, specialties, number of doctors, and medical equipment, as well as evaluation information and medical fee information.

2. Non-covered Medical Fee Information: This service verifies and discloses the prices of non-covered medical fees submitted by medical institutions, thereby helping medical institutions provide appropriate non-covered services and patients make informed choices.

3. Non-covered Medical Fee Verification Service: This service verifies whether non-covered medical fees paid by medical institutions are eligible for health insurance (medical aid).

4. Medicine! Scan for Safe Information: Enter the drug name or scan the barcode to check basic drug information and whether the drug has been recalled by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

5. Check Your Employment History: If you have worked at a healthcare facility, this service allows you to check your employment history, including the name of the facility, duration of employment, and type of employment.

6. My medication! At a Glance: A service that allows you to check your medication history and individual allergy and side effect information for the past year (based on the date of inquiry).

7. View My Medical Information: A service that allows you to check information such as your medical expenses, total medical expenses, treatment history, and prescription dispensing history.
(The relevant hospital/clinic pharmacy submits a medical history request to the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service and provides the completed review data.)

8. My Health Diary: A service that allows you to check your medical usage information, including the number of times you received Korean traditional medicine chiropractic treatment, dental scaling, physical therapy, emergency care, and X-rays this year.
