FUNCTIONS
With the "KVB ServiceApp" you, as a member of the Federal Railway Employees' Health Insurance, can mobile submit reimbursement applications and other documents to the health care and nursing care insurance. As a non-KVB member, you can submit your subsidy application to the Federal Railway Employees' Health Insurance Fund in accordance with the guidelines that apply to you. The app is therefore a simple and quick alternative to sending documents by post.
Through the digital mailbox integrated in the “KVB ServiceApp”, you can have reimbursement notices/subsidy notices and other health care documents from federal railway officials intended for you delivered paperlessly to the “KVB ServiceApp”. In addition, the “KVB ServiceApp” includes smaller self-services.
Using the app itself is free of charge. Please note, however, that you need an internet connection to use it (e.g. WiFi or mobile data connection). The costs for data transmission when sending documents depend on the tariffs of your network provider and are to be borne by you.
LOGIN AND SECURITY
If you have already registered on the KVB website, you can log in directly to the app using your membership number and password. Otherwise, to use the app you must register with the registration code on the KVB website and enter your own password. You can then log in to the app with your membership number and this password.
The “KVB ServiceApp” can be used by multiple members on one device. However, they must each log in with their own membership number and personal password so that the app can assign documents to the correct member.
The usage and data protection regulations of the “KVB ServiceApp” apply.
