Great music app; easily the best one I have. I've used it for many, many years at this point. The Smart list functionality makes this player stand out--especially after a way was added to combine the OR and the AND logic. Nothing comes close. I would love the ability to be able to play songs from my RaspberryPi based DLNA music share at some point since I have a 6000 album music collection. I don't understand why this app isn't rated higher....

Latest update has finally seen me move away from the formerly great BlackPlayer Ex. I wish the album art swipe gestures had animation choices to them, like 'flipping' as some others music apps do. Has some quirks : loses some artist art particularly if changing grid size, occasionally seems to freeze and not be touch responsive until it eventually unfreezes, and going into an artists albums can take a second before they load into view, so some optimisation needed there. Otherwise👍

The new dynamic theme is great. Everything else has made this app noticeably worse. App constantly crashes. Cannot reorder songs in the queue. Getting rid of the tabs at the top and hiding everything in a menu causes extra unnecessary clicks. Artist list used to show total number of songs by that artist in the library. This is now gone. Album list inside the artist used to show the year of the album. That's now hidden until you click the album itself. So many other unnecessary changes.
