(Note: Musicolet doesn't fetch lyrics automatically from internet. You have to manually write or paste lyrics in tag editor, if there is no embedded lyrics. It doesn't fetch lrc file automatically. For lrc files, You have to find lrc file from internet, put it in the same folder and rename to exactly match it with audio file name manually.)

Ever since Spotify kept giving me bad experience after another I wanted a simple way to just use my phone as an MP3 player, but that was a difficult task with apps that would spam ads worse than Spotify with lackluster UI. I finally found what I've been looking for and been using this app for months, it's simple and gets the job done really well with no ads, a simple and working UI, there is a subscription for extra features but it doesn't feel forced and it's cheap. Use this app for music

Absolute BEST Audio Player, esp for your local media. It works flawlessly, and gives me the simple capability of sorting a big folder of mp4's in my collection\library by "Date Modified", so I can play my newest files first. Even this free version gives me SO MANY killer features! Awesome lock screen widgets. Thanks Developers! Musicolet for life!

Has Android Auto fast forward. I haven't tried it in my 6 hour audio book yet, but I hope it works. But it takes way too many menu selections to get to my preferred music folder (when driving in Android Auto). 2 years later, no improvement. I want to have my one folder list open by default without going through so many menus to get there. Also was going to go pro, but it's a bit pricey considering Android Auto has not improved that I can tell.
