Welcome to Cytoid, an open-source rhythm game where you can create, share and play your own levels! Based on the classic scanner-style gameplay and powered by the community, Cytoid provides a huge variety of musical genres to enjoy and a diverse range of gameplay design.

Ratings and reviews

The game is great, but it's plagued with technical issues. The latest update fixed some instability problems, but added a much worse bug where after playing for a few minutes the screen glitches out (as in, it looks like it's physically broken) and the phone locks up - I had to go into sleep to get out of it. This happened three times, and reinstalling didn't help. I've played Cytoid on and off since 2017 and love it, but I can't play it like this. (Phone's a 2024 Moto G5 power if it helps.)

Pretty good game, just know that this feels completely different from cytus if you're trying to hop over for harder content. Even if you can clear a 15 with no problem on cytus, you're only going to get those same results if you put practice mode on. *Also, turn on the fast setting in the game mods if everything seems too slow. If you're getting big lag spikes in game, lower the graphics level. Overall, really good! Definitely something you should check out if you like Cytus.

A really good rythm game, but it could use more begginer levels. It's cool that you can create your own levels and download others. Though, it does take up a lot of space. I recommend this game for people who like rythm games such as 'Osu!' and 'Cytus', though I warn it takes some time before you get used to it.
