About this app

The NKJV Bible App uses the New King James Version Bible, which was conceived by Arthur Farstad and commissioned by Thomas Nelson Publishers in 1975. This version is an updated and more modern version of the classic King James Bible. It presents the text in a language that the everyday person can understand while retaining much of the beloved traditional KJV (King James Version) holy bible interpretation and sentence structure. The 130-person team involved in the making of this version included biblical scholars, pastors, and theologians. They believed in preserving the accuracy of the original Greek, Aramaic, and Hebrew manuscripts, including the Dead Sea Scrolls. They did this while ensuring that the scripture was accessible to everyone.

With this easy-to-use app, you can quickly access your favorite bible verses through the search option, create personalized daily reading plans based on canonical, chronological, or historical plans, track your reading progress with useful statistics, and enjoy peaceful late-night reading sessions with Night Mode, which changes the background to darker colors so that it is easier to read at night. You also have the option to select text-to-speech mode, which enables you to hear the words being read aloud for you. This makes it easy to engage with the New King James Version Bible in a variety of ways. This offline holy Bible adapts to you and your preferred reading style. Download the NKJV Bible app now and start your journey of faith today.

The sub-topics are written as if they are joined to the bible verses; this confused me at first. Apart from that I like this bible app. It is indeed offline so that I am not interupted by unwanted ads while reading. I am able to create folders for various bible study topics in which I can save my selected bible texts. It is easy to navigate and the chapteral topics are written out clearly.

Very nice. Only thing I don't like is the subtitles are added right after the scriptures. This makes it a little odd. My old bible had the subtitles separately above the scriptures so you would know what's coming next.
