Spinning out of the Smell PGH application, Smell MyCity is a mobile phone app designed to engage local residents in tracking pollution odors. Smell MyCity can be used anywhere in the United States. The map view displays smell reports submitted in the area on a given date. This allows residents to track where odors are frequently concentrated, and link those smell events to poor air quality in, or upwind from, those areas.

App was recommended by a hazmat friend. I saw it function on his phone. I was interested enough to download it. BUT it will not work without allowing it to access my location function. It was VERY insistant about that. Sorry, not going to happen. I've functioned quite well without this app in the past and I will continue to do so in the future. If you folks figure out how to make it work without the user having to give away sensitive personal information, I will reconsider using it.

It's just somewhere I can go to tell someone what horrid drugs I smelled for a year where I was living, now I moved and again I'm smelling drugs that instantly make me sick making my heart race I guess drugs are a Real horrid issue here & probably everywhere and frankly I'm really very sick of putting up w this, I tell managers of apt complexes and they do Nothing about it, it's not just there are drugs being taken inside the apts it seems they are cooking drugs both places farmington NM 😶💦

is pretty great, but smell Louisville was better
